This sterling silver antique brooch 40 x 18 mm would make a lovely gift for yourself or a friend, especially if you know a 'Jane'. It was not until I photographed it and enlarged the image could I see that the engraved 'name plate' has been soldered in after.. personalizing it. There appears to be a worn stamped mark on the reverse rim : possibly W.J.B. Rd 22537 ?
